Day 1: Cusco - Puerto Maldonado

• Transfer from the Hotel to the Airport in Cusco
• Flight Cusco - Puerto Maldonado.
• Transfer from the Airport to Ecoamazonia Lodge
• After lunch, a guided visit to the Monkey Island; this site is home to many different species of  monkeys ("Monos" - common denomination for New World non-human primates) such as Maquisapa (Spider Monkey), Machín (Capuchin), Leoncito (Tití -Cebuella pygmaea), Fraile (Squirrel Monkey), Achuni (Nasua nasua d.) and others.
• Return to the Lodge.
• Overnight lodging in Puerto Maldonado.

Day 2: Puerto Maldonado

• After breakfast, your Guide will lead you on an exploratory excursion to the Cocha Perdida (The Lost Lake).
• Once there we shall come -and go up to- the MIRADOR (the AMAZONIAN VIEWPOINT) built atop the greatest of treetops in the Amazonian forest, the revered "SHIHUAHUACO" (Diptrax alata, a relative of the Mimosa and Copaiba family) from where a grand view of the great forest can be admired.
• A pleasant canoe tour around the lake and in the afternoon yet another canoe ride down river complemented with a visit to a local family.
• Return to the Lodge.
• Overnight in lodge Pto. Maldonado.

Day 3: Puerto Maldonado - Transfer Out

• After breakfast, Transfer to the airport / flight back to Cusco or Lima.
