The Huaylas passageway, located at about 400 kilometers north of Lima, is an authentic natural treasure with forested landscapes, colorful valley, snowy mountain peaks and a varied quantity of typical flora and fauna. Its greatest attraction is the snowy mountain of Huascarán with more than 6,768 meters in altitude. It´s the highest mountain in Peru and the second highest in the Americas.  The mountain Alpamayo is another tall one at more than 6,120 meters in height. These two snowy peaks form part of the cordillera blanca, the tropical mountain range which is the highest in all the planet and thusly named for the chemical composition of its quartz rocks. This region is a testament to the development of the Chavín culture, the most ancient in the region and a culmination in artistic and cultural expression. On this tour our team is in charge of providing all the necessary facilities and requirements to ensure security and a pleasant tour.

Day 1: Lima - Huaraz

• Transfer from Hotel to Bus Terminal
• Regular Passenger Line Bus trip to Huaraz covering 417km (260 miles) of road, passing through Pativilca and the impressive Lake of Conococha, from which the Santa River is born. An impressive and admirable view of the Cordillera Blanca before arrival to Huaraz, which takes place in the late afternoon.
• Transfer to hotel for overnight lodging in Huaraz

Day 2: Chavin de Huantar

• Excursion by Bus to Chavin de Huantar.
• Visit of the interior galleries.
• Visit of the Pyramidal constructions + Cabezas Clavas (humanoid heads of varying expressions embedded into the walls of the main temple).
• Afternoon return to Hotel in Huaraz.

Day 3: Huaraz - Lima

• Possibility of visiting the Thermal baths of Monterrey.
• Huaraz - Lima, return in the afternoon.
• Departure on Regular Passenger Line Bus - Huaraz - Lima.
• Transfer from Bus Terminal to Hotel.
